the modern casino was unfortunately closed, which was a disappointment as it was a highlight for us. the lobby lacked a bellman, giving a gloomy first impression. the pool area was a nice retreat, and the hotel manager's gesture of comping our breakfast was appreciated. the room, though outdated in furniture, had comfortable beds. the property's beachfront location and proximity to downtown Jaco were convenient for exploring. Despite the setbacks, the welcoming staff and clean facilities added to the overall experience. In the end, the beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere somewhat made up for the initial hiccups, but the maintenance and communication issues were evident.
